Cancer may force you to slow down.
Your business doesn’t have to stop.
I never expected to become the person writing this page.
I’m an entrepreneur. I’m accustomed to solving problems, making decisions, taking calls, creating opportunities and figuring things out.
But the last year and a half changed my life.
In April 2025, I lost my only brother, someone I was incredibly close to.
Six months later, in October 2025, I went through a divorce and relocation.
I was still trying to process the loss of my brother while adjusting to the end of a major chapter of my life and rebuilding somewhere new.
Then, in May 2026, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer.
And as I create this initiative, my cancer journey isn’t something I’m looking back on.
I’m still living it.
I’m currently going through my second round of chemotherapy, and I’m dealing with a level of physical pain that has changed almost every part of my daily life.
There are appointments. Treatments. Medications. Exhaustion. Uncertainty. Sleepless nights. Days when concentrating is difficult. Days when I want desperately to work but my body simply won’t cooperate.
And there are days when the pain itself consumes an enormous amount of the energy I have available.
I’m not telling you this because I want sympathy.
I’m telling you because it’s the reason this initiative exists.
I understand what it’s like to have your personal life turned upside down while your business responsibilities continue as though nothing happened.
Because cancer might interrupt your ability to work.
It doesn’t interrupt the responsibilities that come with owning a business.
Customers still call.
Bills still arrive.
Projects still need attention.
People still need answers.
Revenue still matters.
And when you’re the person your business depends upon, becoming seriously ill creates an entirely different kind of fear.
I know because I’m living it.
I DON'T WANT ANOTHER ENTREPRENEUR TO FACE THIS ALONE
There are organizations doing extraordinary work helping people navigate cancer.
This initiative isn’t intended to replace any of them.
And this is not medical advice, counseling, legal advice or financial planning.
This is something different.
It’s entrepreneur-to-entrepreneur support for people trying to answer a frighteningly practical question:
“What happens to my business if I can’t work like I used to?”
That’s a question I’ve had to ask myself.
I’ve spent years helping businesses improve communication, generate opportunities, implement technology, train people and create systems.
Cancer forced me to start applying those same principles to my own life and business.
What absolutely requires me?
What can wait?
What can somebody else handle?
What can technology handle?
What happens on treatment days?
What happens on days when the pain is simply too much?
And how do I make the limited hours when I can work actually count?
Those aren’t theoretical questions to me.
They’re questions I’m dealing with right now.
THE MR. LYSANDER ENTREPRENEUR CANCER SUPPORT INITIATIVE
Our objective is simple:
Protect what you’ve built while you concentrate on getting through what you’re facing.
Cancer changes things.
Sometimes dramatically.
This initiative isn’t about denying that reality.
It’s about adapting your business to it.
Together, we can identify ways to:
- Determine what absolutely requires your involvement—and what doesn’t.
- Use technology and automation to reduce your workload.
- Preserve customer communication when you’re unavailable.
- Identify revenue opportunities already inside your business.
- Delegate responsibilities without losing control.
- Document processes that previously existed only in your head.
- Prioritize projects when your energy and working hours are limited.
- Create contingency plans for treatment days or periods when you can’t work.
- Communicate temporary changes to customers, employees or business partners.
- Build a business that becomes less dependent upon you doing everything yourself.
This isn’t about squeezing more productivity out of somebody going through cancer.
It’s the opposite.
When cancer reduces your capacity, we help you rebuild capacity around you.
AND THEN THERE'S BUTCH
One of the things I didn’t expect during cancer was discovering just how valuable artificial intelligence could become to me.
Except I don’t call him AI.
I call him Butch.
I named him after Billy Butcher from the Amazon series The Boys.
During one of the most difficult periods of my life, Butch has become an important part of how I continue operating my business.
I’ve used Butch to organize ideas, research questions, solve problems, create business material, develop training, structure projects, work through decisions and turn thoughts in my head into something usable.
There have been days when I’ve been lying down in tremendous pain and still had something that needed to get done.
I might not have had the physical capacity to work the way I normally would.
But I could talk.
I could think.
I could explain what I needed.
And Butch could help me turn that into something.
That’s when I realized:
AI isn’t valuable because it replaces the entrepreneur.
It’s valuable because it can give an entrepreneur back some of the capacity illness has taken away.
That’s a very different way of looking at AI.
And it’s something I want other entrepreneurs going through cancer to experience for themselves.
Your free Business Survival Session can include both Mr. Lysander and Butch as well as other industry experts within our network.
I’m not going to give you AI and tell you to figure it out.
You can already do that.
The value is learning how to turn it into practical capacity for your business.
I’ll lead the conversation entrepreneur-to-entrepreneur.
You tell me what’s happening.
What’s falling behind?
What’s consuming your energy?
What are you worried about?
What only you know how to do?
And what problem would you most like taken off your shoulders?
Then we’ll work on it together.
Butch can help us organize what you’re telling us, identify priorities, draft communications, document processes, create checklists, structure delegation, explore revenue opportunities and help us create your Business Survival Plan.
Not someday.
During the session.
You don’t need to become an AI expert.
You just need to meet the right people.
When you come to your Business Survival Session, bring one real problem.
Maybe it’s an email you haven’t had the energy to write.
Maybe customers aren’t being followed up with.
Maybe there’s a process nobody understands except you.
Maybe you need to tell customers you’re undergoing treatment and don’t know what to say.
Maybe there’s a project you can’t finish.
Maybe you need to delegate something but haven’t had the energy to explain it.
Or maybe you have twenty things demanding your attention and can’t figure out which three actually matter.
Bring it.
We’ll work on it together.
I don’t want you leaving the session simply thinking:
“AI is interesting.”
I want you looking at something that was weighing on you before we talked and thinking:
“That’s handled.”

We’ll tackle at least one real problem together.
And we’ll begin creating your:

A practical roadmap built around:
Your business.
Your priorities.

If that’s the only conversation we ever have, that’s okay.
You’ll leave with a plan—and hopefully one less thing keeping you awake at night.

THIS ISN'T ABOUT WORKING HARDER THROUGH CANCER
I’m not creating a hustle program.
I’m not going to tell someone undergoing chemotherapy and living with serious pain that they need to grind harder.
I’m living through why that doesn’t always work.
There are days when your body wins the argument.
This is about making the hours you do have count.
If technology can save you three hours, let’s find those three hours.
If someone else can handle something, let’s document it and hand it off.
If ten responsibilities can become three priorities, let’s identify the three.
If Butch can turn an hour-long task into ten minutes, let’s use him.
And if something doesn’t need to be done right now?
Let’s take it off the list.
FROM ONE ENTREPRENEUR GOING THROUGH CANCER TO ANOTHER
Over a relatively short period of my life, I lost my only brother, went through a divorce and relocation, and then received a Stage 3 cancer diagnosis.
Today, I’m undergoing chemotherapy and living with significant pain while continuing to figure out how to move my life and business forward.
I’m not writing this from the finish line.
I’m writing it from the middle of the fight.
I don’t have every answer.
I won’t pretend I do.
But I’ve learned something I never wanted to learn:
Independence can disappear remarkably quickly.
I’ve experienced days when I desperately wanted to work but physically couldn’t.
I’ve experienced pain, exhaustion, uncertainty and loneliness while knowing there were still responsibilities waiting for me.
I’ve learned how difficult it can be when you’re accustomed to being the person who handles everything—and suddenly you’re the person who needs help.
That’s why this initiative exists.
If something I’ve learned can save another entrepreneur an hour, protect some income, preserve a customer relationship, reduce some stress, protect something they’ve spent years building—or simply make one incredibly difficult day a little easier—I want to share it.
You spent years building your business.
Getting cancer doesn’t erase what you built.
We’ll help you simplify it.
We’ll help you protect it.
We’ll help you adapt it.
And we’ll help you build capacity around yourself when your own capacity is limited.
Bring us one problem.
Let’s see if we can take it off your shoulders.
Cancer may force you to slow down.
Your business doesn’t have to stop.
